The project signed by AG&P Greenscape (Emanuele Bortolotti and Paolo Palmulli) aimed to recover an area of 90,000 square meters adjacent to the famous Palazzo Te, the work of Giulio Romano, among the monumental masterpieces that allowed the inclusion of the city in the Unesco Heritage.
Calzolari has furnished some of the new circular squares with groups of large rectangular tables - equipped with refill sockets - and reconstructed stone benches as well as square tables equipped with chessboard and two single seats for players.

In 2024 the park was awarded as the best Italian construction in the public parks sector.
