The project designed by Peia Associati involved the restoration of a historic villa and the construction of a new large hall to serve as an auditorium and place of worship. It is the largest Buddhist center in Europe: the new building is characterized by a large glass wall overlooking a body of water not far from the Naviglio Grande. Under the entrance canopy are Andromeda Lighting benches—equipped with a light fixture located beneath the seat—which provides a sheltered resting spot for visitors.
